Manu assembly constituency is in the Dhalai district of Tripura State. There are 42,899 voters in the constituency of which 40,458 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 94.31%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 87.53% Hindus, 1.23% Muslims and 1.9% Christians.
Pravat Chowdhury candidate belonging to Communist Party Of India (Marxist) won the seat in last election defeating Dhananjoy Tripura of Indigenous People's Front Of Tripura by 193 Votes.
