Karbook assembly constituency is in the Gomati district of Tripura State. There are 34,761 voters in the constituency of which 31,972 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 91.98%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 84.02% Hindus, 5.62% Muslims and 4.48% Christians.
Burba Mohan Tripura candidate belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat in last election defeating Priyamani Debbarma of Communist Party Of India (Marxist) by 797 Votes.
