Usilampatti is constituency No. 197 of Tamil Nadu legislative assembly. This constituency is situated in Madurai district and is part of Theni Lok Sabha constituency. This is an open constituency.

According to the Election Commission of India, Usilampatti assembly constituency has 2,17,244 registered voters. It comprises 1,09,928 male and 1,07,316 female registered voters.

The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) won this assembly seat in the 2011 assembly elections. AIFB candidate Kathiravan P. V. defeated his nearest contender by 15,320 votes. With 72,933 votes, DMK's Ramasamy S.O. was the runner-up. The voter turnout was 79.37 %.
