office with a comfortable margin. The NPF is expected to get around 6 seats, along with Congress

In Nagaland, the currently ruling NPF would be in a stiff competition with BJP, as suggested by the exit polls of CVoter and NewsX.
According to NewsX, NPF would win 20-25 seats in the 60 seat Assembly while BJP, which is in alliance with NDPP, is likely to gather 27-32 seats. The situation for Congress seems bleak, as the party might win only 0-2 seats. The other parties in the state might manage 5-7 seats.
