Wokha assembly constituency is in the Wokha district of Nagaland State. There are 31,361 voters in the constituency of which 26,361 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 84.06%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 94.63% Christians, 3.48% Hindus and 1.47% Muslims ( Wokha- sadar Taluk). Dr Chumben Murry candidate belonging to Naga Peoples Front won the seat in last election defeating Y Mhonbemo Humtose of Janata Dal United by 8,555 Votes.
