There are 18,484 voters in the constituency of which 16,168 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 87.47%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 99.43% Christians, 0.32% Muslims and 0.11% Buddhists. L Khumo Khiamniungan candidate belonging to NPEP won the seat in last election defeating S Heno Khiamniungan of Naga Peoples Front by 4,044 Votes.
