Suruhuto assembly constituency is in the Zunheboto district of Nagaland State. There are 14,653 voters in the constituency of which 13,350 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 91.11%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 98.24% Christians, 1.18% Hindus and 0.33% Muslims.
Shetoyi, an Independent candidate won the seat in last election defeating Khutovi of Congress by 796 Votes.
