Southern Angami-2 assembly constituency is in the Kohima district of Nagaland State. There are 17,504 voters in the constituency of which 14,393 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 82.23%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 70% Hindus, 15%Muslims, 15% Others. Zale Neikha candidate belonging to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party won the seat in last election defeating Er Kropol Vitsu of Naga Peoples Front by 771 Votes.
