Sanis assembly constituency is in the Wokha district of Nagaland State. There are 22,357 voters in the constituency of which 21,110 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 94.42%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 98.2% Christians, 1.16% Hindus and 0.53% Muslims.
Mhathung Yanthan candidate belonging to Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party won the seat in last election defeating Ramongo Lotha of Janata Dal (United) by 2,992 Votes.
