There are 13,416 voters in the constituency of which 12,519 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 93.3%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 98% Christians, 0.58% Hindus and 0.42% Muslims.
Y Vikheho Swu candidate belonging to Naga Peoples Front won the seat in last election defeating Joshua Sumi of Congress by 2,286 Votes.
