There are 15,594 voters in the constituency of which 14,469 voters voted in the last election making the voting to around 85.4%. The Demographic Bifurcation of the constituency is 99.11% Christians, 0.25% Hindus and 0.26% Muslims.
Picto candidate belonging to Naga Peoples Front won the seat in last election defeating K L Chishi of Bharatiya Janata Party by 838 Votes.
