Prabhu B. Chavhan - MLA from Aurad (SC) (52)

Prabhu Bhamla Chavan is a three time MLA from Bidar district of Karnataka. He belongs to the Lambanis community, which was once a nomadic tribe who had arrived in Rajasthan from Afghanistan area. His educational qualification is 12th pass. He came into news when he took oath as the minister of state cabinet by wearing the traditional attire of the Lambanis.

He defeated Congress’s Vijaykumar in 2018 state assembly elections by almost 9 thousand votes.
