Karkal assembly constituency is a Town Municipal Council city in the Karnataka district of Udupi. Karkal constituency election results will be known once the Election Commission shall announce the Karnataka election results of 2023. Karkal Vidhan Sabha 2023 results shall be awaited once the elections are held in the state of Karnataka. Karkal is divided into 23 wards, with elections held every five years. According to Census India 2011, the Karkal Town Municipal Council has a population of 25,800 people, with 12,627 men and 13,173 women. Hindus make up 76.50% of the population, Muslims 14.90%, and Christians 5.87%. In 2018, Karkal Vidhan Sabha constituency had total 181031 electors.
