Haliyal assembly constituency is in the Uttara Kannada district and lies in Coastal Karnataka region. Haliyal constituent election results will be known once the Election Commission shall announce the Karnataka election results of 2023. Haliyal Vidhan Sabha 2023 results shall be awaited once the elections are held in the state of Karnataka. There are 1,69,966 voters. As per 2011 population census there are 1,19,357, of which 60,599 are male and 58,758 are female. There are 82% Hindus, 12% Muslims and 3.38% Christians.
In the 2018 Vidhan Sabha elections Deshpande R.V won the seat who belongs to INC. The lists of candidates for the Haliyal constituency have been declared by various political parties for the upcoming Karnataka elections 2023.
