About Prithla Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
Prithla is an emerging industrial town in Faridabad district of Haryana. Earlier it belonged to Palwal. The assembly constituency of Prithla is a part of Faridabad parliamentary constituency. As per the reports Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda approved of the schemes to deal with the issue of scarcity of water in the villages that fall under Prithla constituency. Raghubir Singh of INC won the 2009 assembly elections and is the current MLA from the constituency. He defeated Tek Chand Sharma of BSP. Singh bagged 34647 votes as against Sharma's 31492 votes.
