Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya is the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers

The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers administer three departments – Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Department of Fertilizers and Department of Pharamaceuticals. The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals takes care of the planning, development and regulations of the chemicals. The Department of Fertilizers administers the planning, promotion and development of the fertilizer industry. The ministry is headed by the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Ananth Kumar is the present minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers. Previously, Ram Vilas Paswan was the last Minister to held the position.
