Barbigha Vidhan Sabah constituency is represented by Sudarshan Kumar of Congress in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He won the Bihar Assembly election of 2015 by securing 46,406 votes. Sudarshan Kumar defeated Sheo Kumar of BLSP by a margin of 15,717 votes.
Barbigha is located in the Sheikhpura district of the state. There are a total of 2,04,279 people in the constituency who are eligible to vote under the Universal Adult Suffrage. Amongst all the voters in the constituency, there are 1,08,820 males and 95,451 females. The next election in Barbigha will take place as per the schedule of the Bihar Assembly election 2020.
