Issues of Mundka

India has a constitution that allows its citizens to elect their own representatives at all levels, but it is equally true that the people and their problems are by and large ignored by their leaders. The Delhi assembly constituency of Mundka is one such area. People had elected an independent candidate Rambir Singh Shokeen in 2013 elections to address their grievances and help them get rid of them. But the locals have never seen him. The question uppermost on the mind of every person is 'what has the MLA done for his constituency?'.

Unavailability of basic amenities, damaged streets and roads, dirty locales, bundle of trash are a common sight. The cries of the people have fallen on deaf ears. Although, there is an online system made available to the people to register their complaints, yet it is of no use since either the technology is alien to them or they are unaware about the facility.
