Anaikattu is constituency No. 44 of Tamil Nadu legislative assembly. It is situated in Vellore district and comes under Vellore Lok Sabha constituency. It is an open constituency.

According to data with the Election Commission of India, Anaikattu has 1,88,555 registered voters. It comprises 94,271 male and 94,284 female registered voters.

In the 2011 Assembly elections, the PMK won this seat by a margin of 27,903 votes. Kalaiarasu M., the winning candidate from PMK, got 80,233 votes. The nearest contender was Velu V.B. of DMDK who got 52,330 votes. The voter turnout was 78.13 %.
