About Ateli Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Constituency
Ateli is a small town situated in Mahendragarh district of Haryana.The assembly constituency of Ateli falls under Bhiwani-Mahendragarh parliamentary constituency. In 2005 assembly elections, Naresh Yadav, an independent candidate defeated Narender Singh of INC. Similarly in 2009 assembly elections Anita Yadav, an INC candidate defeated Santosh Yadav of BJP though not with a huge margin. Hence, in the past two assembly elections 2005 and 2009, none of the parties were able to win the seat.
